Hiya beautiful people. There's that word thats dashed all over instagram 'fitness'. We see hundreds of accounts day in, day out with beautiful 'fitness models' with all the latest gym gear and all the 'ads' and 'spons' for funky protein mixes which in fairness, tastes like crap unless mixed with milk really. We see people post videos of themselves in full makeup, doing some sort of routine in the gym with perfect hair, not breaking a sweat. Myself, like most people, will hate going to the gym in full makeup and 'perfect' hair doesn't stay too perfect after a down pour of sweat leaves hair strands clinging to your face, head and neck (very glamorous).
I used to dabble in going to the gym every week when I was younger, mainly because I wanted something to do when there was no Eastenders on a Wednesday so to the gym for a few hours and come home and that would be me done. I also used to do netball and high jump at school and I used to go to…
Hello lovelies. Welcome back to another baking post. As it was Rob's birthday recently, he requested a carrot cake for his birthday buffet as it's his favourite and he never can eat a shop bought or cafe made cake as he has a super severe nut allergy. I've made him one a few times however this time I altered my usual recipe (shock) and it tasted bloody fantastic if I do say so myself. With a mix of spices and some super sweetness, this cake is a delight to have at a birthday, tea party or just a casual weekend cuppa and cake get together with close ones. Obviously, feel free to add the traditional walnuts to top the cake off, however this recipe uses a totally nut free recipe. Happy baking my loves.

Dia Dhuit...or just hello if you not Irish. Welcome back, I hope you've had a good week. Ireland was our little adventure last month, Dublin to be exact and we loved it. Although you always hear people raving about Dublin, myself and Rob were a little dubious about going because everyone who has been before us who we know personally, have all been on a 'drinking holiday' there, i.e. stag do's or lads or lasses weekends away. We went for a couples weekend away and although we did start to regret it after the first day (long story, I will explain shortly), our second and third day really made our trip.
We flew from NCL at around 08:55, I think it was, the flight was fine as flights with Ryan Air go...but we did get extra leg room which was champion to sit in for all of 35 mins (yip, that is how short our flight was, great aint it?). Funny story about our flight, Rob finished nightshift that morning and I didn't sleep too well as I have really bad travel anxiety so I …
